A burning German tank. Official caption: "ETO HQ 44 29569 14 Dec. Credit...U.S. Army Signal Corps. Photog--T/3 Victor G. Calvano...167. This tank was set afire with 'sticky type' fluid thrown from flame thrower in demonstration by 9th Army infantrymen of various methods of knocking out enemy tanks. (B). 117th Inf. and 120th Inf., 30th Div., XIX Corps, 9th U.S. Army." Censored by the SHAEF Field Press Censor on 17 December 1944. Passed for publication without censorship by Army Expeditionary Forces Field Press Censor on 16 April 1945.
