"3-23-44. Ecklund. The 2nd Platoon of 35 Quartermaster Corps Pack Train is preparing thin Pickett line. Mules will be taken off line, loaded and returned. When completed they will deliver 'C' Rations, mail and clothing to 353 Inf Regt, 89 Div. 4 miles away in HLMR. Mules are at 89 DSA. HLMR MTN Man. R 168-9-44-672."
