Blimp drops depth charge--- A towering geyser of water crescendos upward as a huge dirigible drops a depth charge during target practice off Lakehurst, N.J. [New Jersey]. The lighter-than-air craft have been invaluable weapons in the anti-submarine war in the Atlantic and in patrolling for survivors of sunken ships. - Official U.S. Navy Photograph." 1943
