Bodies of two dead German soldiers on a roadside near a destroyed jeep. "ETO-HQ-44-7602. Franklin. 15 July. Signal corps photo. The dead Jerries were part of a tank crew whose tank was "liquidated" by American tankers. In the background is an amphibious Nazi jeep knocked out of action." Probably Northern France. 15 July 1944.
