1802. '3-14-44. Von Stroheim. 391st Quartermaster, 3rd Corps. Van went off road to 71st Div HQ. Van had extra equipment of Cos K & L and HQ Co-(blankets and equipment). Van went off road; driver cut too short. Road gave way. Van was on way to base camp coming back from maneuvers. Man driving was from 3rd Bn HQ Co 5th Inf 71st Div.
