366.Photograph. Severe damage to German equipment and railroad cars at an Italian railyard after bombings by Allied forces. '24 Nov 1944. 5/MM-44-30589. Fifth Army, Lagaro Area, Italy. The railway yards and station near Lagaro, Italy is a shambles of wrecked trains and scattered German supplies, after an air raid which destroyed every piece of rolling stock in the yard and wrecked the entrance to a 12 mile tunnel probably the longest in the world. South African troops are now reopening the tunnel so that supplies can be shipped by rail to their fighting men south of Bologna. Photo by Baker. 3131 Signal Service Co.'
