Billie R. Casey had never been outside of Texas when he enlisted in the U.S. Army at Houston on 27 Jan 1943. During his service in WWII in the Army's 1905 Engineer Aviation Battalion he spent time in New York, Rio de Janeiro, India, and Burma where his battalion joined other groups in the construction of the Ledo Road. The collection consists of 284 photographs from Casey's service with the 1905th Engineer Aviation Battalion in the China-Burma-India Theater.
