Praises Jerry for "standing up for himself" against another little boy; Chides him for being "scared" to go downtown, and hopes that Jerry will overcome his fear because he is missing out on a lot of fun times; Maj. Hanaw is proud of his daughter, Allie, for the letter she wrote him and tells Jerry to tell her so; explains where he got the German Army souvenirs: "And we can't get men's things either, until we kill them or capture them, can we? So there is a dead German for each helmet & pin I sent you. Isn't that fine?" 4 pages. 11 March 1945
