1967. '3-28-44. Freeney. 'Island' of filled gasoline cans at the 3954th Quartermaster Gas Supply at HLMR. The ditch aaround the island and the pit at the right are for the dual purpose of water drainage and to prevent spreading of fire in case such should occur. This organization supplies some 8,000 to 13000 gallons of gasoline daily to the entire Reservation through such Islands as these. HLMR MTN Man. R168-9-44-719.'
