20.Photograph. Destruction of tents along flooded land. 'What was left of our hosp. [hospital] and quarters 20 nurses to a tent cots head-toe- with foot locker between. No showers, etc. 2 blocks approx to latrines, bathed in our helmets allotted helmet of H20 each per day.' New Caledonia. 1944-45
