A civilian refugee woman (probably of the Chamorro/Chamoru people) from Tinian aboard a U.S. Navy LCT [Landing Craft, Tank]]. The Navy was probably transporting her and other civilians that had surrendered after hiding in caves on Tinian and the surrounding islands. Photo probably taken in late 1945
