A bomb damaged wooden chapel in the Philippines in 1944

Gift of John M. Lynes Sr., from the Collection of The National WWII Museum
Description:

A bomb damaged wooden chapel. "Not all of the church buildings are as elaborate as the previous one. This view shows a typical small wooden chapel building of the average small community. This one suffered a bombing during the action against the Japanese and stands, so far, unrepaired, and a trifle unsteady. In spite of its condition it is used regularly by the community church-goers and also for a children's religious classroom during the week." Philippines 1944
