Items from the service of Edward Erle Ezell Jr. who was born in 1920 in Kentucky. Ezell enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps on 23 November 1943 at Fort Meade in Maryland. He served in the Pacific Theatre as a photographer, spending time in the Marianas Islands and Japan, where he was stationed when the atomic bombs were dropped. Collection includes photographs, a uniform, and ephemera related to his service.
