1213. '4-5-44. Lt. A. Burgin. Capt. Harry Cohen, Medical Corps, Bn Surgeon atched {attached} to 483rd AAA Bn, as he examined the remains of Pvt Norman A. Badders, age 20, for possible identification of body. Positive identification was later obtained at station Hospital from eye witnesses, who were also injured by shrapnel from the 'DUD' that the dead man was handling, at time of explosion. 168-L-44-1299.'
