Sgt Joseph Grauso of the 1st Combat Section, 1st Platoon, 283rd Sig Pigeon Co, carrying cages of pigeons to an L5 plane from which they will be dropped by a nine foot parachute to the 71st L Div engaged on maneuvers at HLMR.
