King, Queen and Court of Athenian Ball during Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Louisiana. "Queen - Helen Daley, St. Paul, Minn. [Minnesota]; King - James Blessin, Minneapolis, Minn.; 2nd from my left - Regina Daley. Extreme left of picture, where arrow points Alma Ray - my little chiene(?). Dress, mantle, crown and scepter were worn by a Mrs. Farwell, queen of Athenian Ball in 1937 or there abouts. Jewels were also loaned by her. New Orleans, La., 230 Dryades St., USO Carnival Ball, Feb 10, 1945." 10 February 1945
